Travelers league is geared towards participants in grades 4-8. It is a more competitive league that gives participants opportunities for continued development of skills and organized team play through tournaments/games within the region against other travelers teams. It is open to girls in the Rice Lake/St. Joseph School District only. For grades 4-6, girls MUST also participate in the city league in order to participate in the travelers league (exception made only for 5th/6th graders who are also participating in the St. Joseph School basketball program). Grades 4-6 travelers league seasons run approximately Nov/Dec-Feb. Grades 7-8 travelers league seasons run approximately Sept/Oct-Jan. Practice and game schedules vary by team/grade and are determined by the volunteer coaches of each team.
